Before you move you can save yourself some money and make sure your valuables don't break at the same time. If you knew far enough in advance you can save all the packing peanuts that you get when you get a package delivered to your house. They always put a million of those things in the box so why not save them and use them yourself. In this day and age we always find ourselves ordering stuff off the internet so you might as well use those annoying things that are in overabundance in the box to your advantage.

I see no reason to waste good money on something that you can get for free with a little planning. The problem is that you don't think to save these things until you start to pack up your valuables.

When my friend Mike moved from New York to California he asked all his neighbors to save their packing peanuts and bubble wrap that came in their packages for him.
