If you’re in the process of moving, you may want to consider the size of the boxes that you will be packing your belongings in for the move. A lot of people believe that a large moving box offers them less trips to the moving van, and for the most part that may be true. But consider the manageability of larger moving boxes, usually it takes at least two people to lift a large moving box, unlike traditional moving boxes that hold around 100 pounds and that can be carried by one person.

If you do choose to pack your belongings in larger moving boxes, you may want to pack them lightly just because a box is large, doesn’t mean that it was meant to hold heavy items. Otherwise, you may want to consider using some type of moving blanket or cover.
