If your ready to move than you need to find some moving boxes. Buying a moving box isn't just grabbing the first one's that you see, as each box has a specific use. I will take a look at the variety of boxes and their uses to make your move easier.

There are first what they call moving boxes. These boxes come in all sizes from small to extra large and hold various items depending on the size. Small boxes are for books and knickknacks that take very little room.

Medium size boxes are for clothes and other medium size items. Large boxes are for your large items like lamps and dishes and clothes and blankets. Or for whatever you cant fit into the smaller boxes. Over the last few years people have been buying Moving Kits that include all the sizes based on your apartment or house size.

There are also specialty made boxes for microwave and televisions so you don't have no protection for those other valuables that you have a hard time finding a box for. Wardrobe boxes are for those special clothes that you don't want to get damaged.

Lamp boxes are also available for lamps or golf clubs. Their is really nothing anymore that can't be protected with a box. This helps make moving a breeze and it takes so much pressure off your movers as they don't have to worry so much about breakage.

So as you will notice boxes have come a long way and will continue to only get better which is the way is should be. I personally recomend that you think about buying a plastic Rubbermaid storage box because after you move you can use them for storage in your new place. It is a win win. You also don't have to worry about moving on a rainy day or having to hurry and unpack.
