My name is Vinny (my friends lovingly call me "Vinny the moving man") and back in 2004 or so I was doing a search for moving boxes and I was very disgusted at the results I was being shown. Since I worked in the moving business for years I came to know what supplies were needed to do the job correctly and were to find them.

There were many places that were just trying to make a fast buck and sell boxes that were poorly made. After many years being on the moving truck and seeing countless valuables broken by either cheap moving boxes or poorly wrapped for no good reason. I decided to make a website devoted to help hard working people when they move.

It is stressful enough moving when you add on things like trying to get the electric and gas turned on, last thing you need is to break something that was very valuable or a keepsake from your spouses great grandmother. I seen it too many times and adding that stress is screaming kids and whatever else can compound the situation. 

I have put together a moving supply checklist to help people with their move. Life is too short and if I can help someone with my years of experience that is what I am going to do. For the last few years I have been recommending that people use plastic bins when they move. They are much stronger and you don't throw them away when you are done. You use them for storage in your house.
